While taking a day trip from Orlando, FL to Savannah, GA I began to drift away as we rode through the thick of the backwoods of Florida.  The day was cool and the pastels ran through the sky in a rare form.  I remember thinking Florida is never this cold.  We pulled into the Jacksonville station only 2 hours from Savannah and I began to doodle away at an idea of a business that I'd both love and enjoy.  I doodled tiny, colorful cakes and the idea formed as we began to leave the station.

 

Between the 2.5 hour ride between Jacksonville and Savannah I'd completely drawn the ideas small cakes that swarmed my brain, incorporated my business and picked a cute little name.  My only true hope was to love making the cute little gifts for gifters to others and make sure love was in every bite.  On a spin of trains wheel in the back woods of small towns Kwik Cake began!
